Card set – A 60-card set (2-1/2” x 3-1/2”, like trading cards) that summarily covers the history and the civics of the USA. A great primer or review for students of all ages, any citizen, people studying to be citizens, etc. The cards are like a combo of Cliffs© Notes, flash cards, note cards, and trading cards. There are hundreds of ways to use them.

CD-ROM – A mini CD-ROM for tray loading devices. It contains an interactive Flash program of the 60 card fronts & backs, card extras, important civic documents, citizenship quiz, and quiz answers.

Activities Booklet – Activity worksheets, puzzles, and quizzes that can be used alone but are designed to be used with the cards. Activity suggestions using cross-reference of Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences and Bloom’s Taxonomy of Educational Objectives.

The Know The USA card set and CR-Rom have been on QVC, a best seller at the Supreme Court of the United States, and a Scholastic National Award Winner for Best in Social Studies.

These were last produced in 2001, but still serve as an ideal, excellent resource and review of USA history and civics.

I have only 50 cards sets w/CD-ROM remaining. The cards are a great tactile item which help in learning. Students (and adults) enjoy holding and shuffling them, looking at them (and not a screen), and collecting them in card sleeves.
